The Steele family has been in the Food service industry since 1941. Spero and Dolly Steele started in the restaurant business in Waukesha Wisconsin in 1941.

Spero sold wholesale foods with The Sara Lee Company also and imported some items from Greece also. Spero and Dolly Steele were the first enlisted married couple in Wisconsin during the beginning of World War Two. All of their 7 children were also involved in food service industry.

SteeleBuilt has a full line of food service Equipment that we sell, install, and service. This is a new part of our business that has really taken off. For the last 10 years I have been building refrigerated vans. I insulate, refrigerate, and also heat some vans. This is the biggest part of my business and continues to grow every month.

We recently started servicing the vans I build also. I also refrigerate some high quality fiberglass bodies that are the best built in North America with a life time warranty. Those fiberglass bodies fit in to Ram, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, and Nissan pick up truck. We install both major brands of refrigeration systems.

Our bakery business is also growing at a fast pace . We represent Simmas products, Milwaukee Pretzel, Verns Cheese products , Usinger Sausage, along with some other Illinois, and Wisconsin high quality food manufactures.
